HEARTS A BLUHM is a heart-health awareness campaign
launched by Northwestern’s Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute. This
first-of-its-kind program is aimed at educating the consumer and
creating a widespread awareness of the prevention and treatment of
cardiovascular disease. Coinciding with National Heart Month (February)
as well as Valentine’s Day, the campaign features 100 acrylic hearts
decorated by students, faculty, staff and alumni from Columbia College
Chicago.
Jessica D’Amore, daughter of Kolorcure employees
Angelo and Carin D’Amore, was one of the 100 artists whose work is now
on display along Michigan Avenue in Chicago. With her personal
connection to Kolorcure, this young artist had access to printing
services which played a key part in finishing her original design.
